Shipping Policy
This policy covers orders placed on the Makinjitechs online store. By placing an order you agree to the terms below.
Where we ship
We currently ship within the United States only. If you need an order sent to Canada or elsewhere, contact us before ordering and we will tell you whether it is possible and what it will cost.
Shipping rates
- Standard — $8.00, and free on orders of $70.00 or more.
- Express — $15.00.
Rates are calculated at checkout on the order subtotal before tax. Large or heavy items may carry an additional charge, which will be shown before you pay.
Processing and dispatch
Orders are processed on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding US public holidays). Items we hold in stock are dispatched from the nearest available location, and you will receive a tracking number by email as soon as the order leaves.
Some items are supplied from authorized distributors or the manufacturer's own regional stock. If an item is not on the shelf when you order, we will confirm the expected lead time with you before the order is accepted — you will not be charged for a delay we did not tell you about.
Delivery times
Standard shipping typically arrives within 2–5 business days of dispatch; Express typically within 1–2 business days. These are estimates, not guarantees, and carriers can be delayed by weather, holidays or events outside our control.
Address accuracy
Please check your shipping address before you complete checkout. We are not responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address supplied by the customer, and re-shipping costs in that case are the customer's responsibility.
Lost, delayed or damaged shipments
If tracking shows a package as delivered but you have not received it, check with neighbours and your building's mail area first, then contact us within 7 days of the delivery date. If a package arrives damaged, keep the packaging, photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours so we can raise a claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement.
Order changes and cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We can usually help if the order has not yet been dispatched; once it has shipped, it falls under our Refund Policy.
